Ben brings a diverse construction background to Encore. Ben has worked as a Site Engineer, Estimator and Project Manager for several General Contractors and Developers while constructing Multi-family Housing, Churches, “Big Box” and TI Retail along with Historic Masonry restoration projects. Ben received his degree in Building Construction Management from the UW-Platteville. Prior to enrolling in college, Ben served eight years in the United States Marine Corps as a Heavy Equipment Operator and an Administrator. Ben enjoys the fruits of a successful project by facilitating teams of owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers. In his spare time, Ben likes to ride his bike, listen to his collection of vintage stereo equipment and hang out with his wife and two sons.
Hans Joined the Encore Commercial team in 2018, relocating his family from Arizona to Wisconsin. Hans started his career as a Project Manager for Charter Communications where he oversaw the Telcom infrastructural rebuild of Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, California. He was later recruited to the executive team of a national behavioral health facility where he served as the Director of Human Resources. Hans enjoys the creation and development that comes from the construction industry and is happy to be back in this field. He enjoys hunting, camping and the outdoors as well as cooking with his grill or smoker and spending time with his wife, five children and two grandchildren.
Jake joined Encore Commercial near the beginning of 2019. Jake started his construction career at the age of 17 working for a home builder during the summers and holiday breaks while attending UW-Lacrosse in Business Management. After graduating, Jake was in sales for a building materials manufacturer and then later worked for a general contractor specializing in exterior sales and project management. Jake says “I have always enjoyed construction from all aspects as I grew up doing projects around the house with my Dad and now projects on my own home with my son”. Away from the office, Jakes enjoys spending his time in the outdoors with his wife, son and two dogs.
Cole has been with Encore since 2014. His construction interest began during high school while working with a concrete foundation crew. He holds a degree from UW-Platteville in Building Construction Management. Cole also played collegiate baseball. During his college years, he continued his construction activities as a carpenter doing trim, rough framing, roofing, siding, concrete flatwork and remodels. After college, Cole worked for a general contractor building commercial storefronts; after a few years, Cole worked himself into project management. Cole enjoys seeing the buildings and improvements he has managed…” there’s nothing better than saying, I built that building, complex, store, etc.” He enjoys the personal creativity the business affords him and learning from guys that have been in the industry a bit longer. Cole is married with two daughters. His interests include hunting, fishing, pitching for his Home Talent baseball team and spending time with family and friends.
Hans joined Encore Commercial in the beginning of 2020. He is a 2014 graduate from UW-Oshkosh. After a couple of sales positions, he worked as a flatwork finisher with his uncle’s company. In 2016, Hans made the jump into project management with a large mechanical contractor in the Madison area. Hans enjoys being involved in the building progress from start to finish and enjoys learning as much as he can about every facet of construction. He is excited for the future of the industry. In his spare time, Hans enjoys building furniture, remodeling and improving homes. Hans’s interests and hobbies include attending Badger football, basketball, and hockey games, hiking, playing softball, and generally being outdoors.
Prior to joining Encore in 2018, Kale started in the industry as a pole barn laborer and iron worker. Kale attended UW-Platteville, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Safety Management. After graduation, Kale enjoyed an internship in Bozeman, Montana working for a Hydroelectric Dam Contractor assisting with civil estimates. Kale enjoys working in a team environment and having pride in his contributions to building, both of which pare well with Encore’s culture. Kale enjoys spending time with his family and friends, weekend road trips and pitching for his Home Talent Baseball team. Kale also coaches high school football.
Mike joined Encore in 2019 and brings 30 plus years of framing, finish carpentry and superintending experience. His education includes an apprenticeship as a WCTC Carpenter and an associate degree with specialties in trusses, stairs, and safety. Mike has had the opportunity to build wide ranges of commercial structures from restaurants, apartment buildings, retail, strip malls and houses in several states. He is the proud father of three daughters, one son and five grandchildren. Mike enjoys traveling with his fiancée, fantasy football, collecting sports memorabilia, fireworks and riding snowmobiles and ATV’s.
Curt joined Encore in 2013. He relocated from Missouri to Wisconsin in 2016. Curt is an Air Force veteran of 11 years and has been a golf professional. More recently, Curt has been a concrete foreman, CM project manager and project superintendent. Curt’s project exposure includes schools, churches, banks, jails, athletic facilities, FEMA projects, multi-family mixed use apartment complexes, warehouse Facilities and convenience stores. He has an associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force in personnel communications and management. Curt appreciates construction due to the fast pace nature, daily challenges and diversity of the industry. Curt has one daughter (serving in the Air Force), four grandchildren and spends his free time hunting, fishing, welding, snowmobiling, golfing, and building things.
Before joining Encore in 2015, Max earned an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering from Madison College and holds a Certificate in Project Management. Max worked as an Engineer Technician on the Verona Road DOT project. At Encore, Max has filled roles as Project Engineer, Assistant Estimator, Assistant Project Manager, and Superintendent. He enjoys the personal challenges and the camaraderie between tradesmen the construction industry offers. Max is an avid outdoorsman spending most of his free time hunting and fishing; in between, Max has been known to especially enjoy time with family and friends.
Hunter extended his 35+ year professional construction career by joining Encore Commercial in 2019. He attended then Madison Area Technical College and then completed a certificate in Construction Supervision from Clemson University. Hunter has served on both Wisconsin State Laborers and Carpenters Apprenticeship advisory committees. Hunter brings a vast experience including public buildings, hotels, light and medium commercial, hospitality, banks and educational facilities. He spends his free time surrounded by his family including six grandchildren. Hunter relishes outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, shooting events and his family cabin.
Bob joined Encore Commercial in 2015. He started his career as a retail grocery manager and then then transitioned to the construction arena. Bob has held successful positions as a residential/commercial framer, a construction company equipment manager, a residential remodeler and most recently as an Assistant Superintendent here at Encore Commercial. Bob enjoys construction due to the different challenges, teamwork, and overall knowledge needed for construction responsibilities. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Bob enjoys farm life, being outside, sports, reading military history books, and building things.
Dallin started with Encore Commercial in 2017. He graduated from high school in Utah and attended Weber State University where he played baseball. Dallin’s experience includes roofing, appliance repair, property restoration, commercial transportation (CDL), cabinetry construction and most recently Assistant Superintendent at Encore including Punch and Warranty work. Away from work, Dallin enjoys spending time with his family and daughter, hiking, softball, snowboarding, watersports and woodworking.
